Lunch and Learn Series

Looking for a great way to get your child interested in the wonders of nature? Pack a lunch and head over to the Watershed Center in Pennington to partake in one or more of several hour-long nature lessons! Each session will be taught by Senior Naturalist Allison Jackson, who will lead you and your child in a hands-on activity and send you home with ideas and projects for further enrichment. The series, which consists of six lessons, is now at its halfway point; don't worry though, as each gathering is a fresh start! If you and your child (5-10 years old) would like to join in on one or more of the remaining lessons, mark the calendar for February 22, March 7, and March 21. Each class is $5 per child, starts at 11:30 AM, and requires no registration, just drop-in! For more information contact Maryann Polefka at (609) 737-7592.
