Can you believe that the last week of April is already here? Everyone may be looking ahead to dreams of beautiful May weather, but there's still plenty of time left in April to start enjoying spring! In this post, you can read about some great events happening in and around Princeton before the end of the month. Spring is in the air, and we don't mean allergies!

Arbor Day Celebration at Terhune Orchards

Where would we be without trees? Beautiful Terhune Orchards is all about our leafy friends, so they would like to invite everyone to celebrate Arbor Day at 10 a.m. on April 29! For just $5, a parent/caregiver and their child can come enjoy a "tree" story and receive their very own blue spruce seedling to plant at home! Cycle and Sip

What could possibly go with a scenic bike ride better than wine! At 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, get out of bed and grab some fresh air with a 16-mile guided bicycle excursion from Washington Crossing Historic Park to New Hope/Lambertville and back. Afterward, reward yourself with some of Crossing Vineyards and Winery's incredible wines, all paired with cheeses, cured meats, and chocolates! Participants will also experience a tour of the winery. Kite Day at Terhune Orchards

Terhune Orchards isn't done yet! After you visit on the 29, come by again on April 30 for Kite Day! Bring your own kite or choose one at their store, then test it out on their 10-acre pasture! Other activities happening on the farm include riding in a tractor-drawn wagon, touring the grounds, games for child, and plenty of amazing food to select from. Admission is $5. Spring Hoedown Barn Dance

Finally, at 6 p.m. on April 30 you can help raise funds for Advancing Opportunities Inc./Cerebral Palsy of NJ by attending the Spring Hoedown! Attendees will enjoy music, dancing, a silent auction, food, and a full bar, all for a good cause! The event will be held at the Robbinsville Fieldhouse Sports and Expo Center.
